The General Council which held its October session in Rome resumed the orientations of the  General Chapter: "education, way of evangelization." We invite you all during this YEAR OF FAITH to find ways and means to live your faith, to know it better, to proclaim and celebrate it, not alone, but with others, especially with young people. The Bishops assembled in Synod received a letter, dated October 20, written by the youth of the School of Evangelization of the Community of Emmanuel in Rome. Nous omettons souvent de nous en remettre au guide de notre vie intérieure. Nous comptons trop sur nos propres forces que, pourtant, nous savons si faibles. Nous avons beaucoup de difficultés à laisser le Saint-Esprit insuffler en nous sa vie, librement. Est-ce parce que nous n'y croyons pas assez ? Ou bien par crainte qu'il nous emmène trop loin ? C'est le même Esprit, en effet, qui est en nous lorsque nous prions à l'oratoire et qui anime notre activité apostolique, dans la relation éducative ou dans l'exercice de nos responsabilités. L'unité de vie suppose une entière réceptivité à ce que Dieu veut faire en nous.
